The City of Fulshear is experiencing rapid growth. The population is estimated at 20,000 and can easily support local restaurants, shops and services. The City was established in 1824 and more can be learned at www.fulsheartexas.gov.

Fulshear Run is the only estate lot community in the area that provides City water and wastewater services.

The local elementary school is Huggins Elementary. In recent years Lamar Consolidated Independent School District has built three new schools near the entrance to Fulshear Run. They include James W. Fulshear Run is served by Fulshear Municipal Utility District Number 2 with a tax rate of $1.20. The total combined tax rate in Fulshear Run is $3.20.

The active Homeowners Association enforces strong deed restrictions and architectural guidelines.
